Wearing style for many people is a personal choice, but here are some pros and cons to help decide which is best for you:
Over the head: Over the head is a very comfortable and secure wearing style. Many people who use headsets for extended periods of time choose this wearing style. Staff who are going to be away from their desk or moving around a lot (often receptionists) also favour this wearing style because of its security.
In ear: A much more discreet (and often more modern) looking design, but there are some drawbacks. This style is sometimes less secure than an over the head design, and we have found that many people who wear glasses find that this style actually pushes their glasses out of alignment.
Over the ear: Similar to the in ear style, but with a hook that goes over the ear for added wearer security.
If you’re still not sure which wearing style is for you, don’t worry! We have many headsets available which can be worn in both over the ear and over the head styles. This means that you can wear the headset in whichever style suits you best from hour to hour.
